Gender Reveal cakes are quite the “in thing” to do nowdays when announcing to friends and family when you are expecting a baby. The reveal is usually hidden inside the cake, either by colouring the sponge pink or blue or putting pink or blue smarties inside the cake, to name but a few ideas. The outside of the cake usually has no clues as to what you are expecting so this is a fun way to tell your loved ones! Here is a gender reveal cake I did recently for a couple who are expecting a baby girl. The sponge inside the cake was pink. Look forward to making more of these cakes in future!
